The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 顾寒景 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdomiro Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Natã de Godoy in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gláuber Faustino saved Carcanha FC from getting behind. Gláuber Faustino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laércio de Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frank Terra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but 顾寒景 made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Carcanha FC's zone, Natã de Godoy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gláuber Faustino came out of the goal and Natã de Godoy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 47 minutes into the game, RiDoL F.C's Natã de Godoy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gláuber Faustino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valdomiro Silveira to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Laércio de Barros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Carcanha FC booed when RiDoL F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinei Pinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 65 minutes, Natã de Godoy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RiDoL F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Natã de Godoy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gláuber Faustino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Natã de Godoy's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. The supporters of RiDoL F.C booed when Carcanha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Luiz Campidelis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laércio de Barros who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Gláuber Faustino when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 73rd minute Natã de Godoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gláuber Faustino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dionísio Luz during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Carcanha FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. RiDoL F.C were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
