Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Quartel Moncada FC's Horácio Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Alagoano in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Alagoano in the 18th minute of play forced Quartel Moncada FC's goalkeeper Horácio Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Luís Paulo Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the game, Ian Neto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Luís Fabiano Braga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Horácio Moreno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafinha Catarinense in the 28th minute. Rafinha Catarinense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horácio Moreno having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Miguel Alagoano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Horácio Moreno. Miguel Alagoano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After 37 minutes of play, Periseiro's Miguel Alagoano made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Horácio Moreno was left in no man's land by his defense there! With his leg Horácio Moreno managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Periseiro's Rafinha Catarinense fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Miguel Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Miguel Alagoano came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Periseiro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Alagoano couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

54 minutes into the match, Periseiro's goalkeeper Luís Fabiano Braga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Paulo Cardoso. Rafinha Catarinense took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horácio Moreno. Horácio Moreno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 58th match minute, Periseiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amauri Abreu to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 60 minutes, Luís Paulo Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quartel Moncada FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Paulo Cardoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th play minute Luís Paulo Cardoso came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Luís Fabiano Braga. 3-2. Periseiro's Luís Fabiano Braga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Periseiro from getting a goal against them. Aírton Nunes hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute of the match Luís Guilherme Gaspar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Horácio Moreno skillfully saved the ball. Emílio Sanches charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emílio Sanches the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 75th minute, Emílio Sanches hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Quartel Moncada FC's zone, Rafinha Catarinense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horácio Moreno came out of the goal and Rafinha Catarinense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Horácio Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Alagoano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Luís Paulo Cardoso made a precise shot to the right of Luís Fabiano Braga. Periseiro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. In the 93rd minute Rafinha Catarinense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horácio Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute Amauri Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horácio Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 97 played minutes Quartel Moncada FC got a freekick which was hit by Aírton Nunes. Horácio Moreno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miguel Alagoano's shot from short distance in the 98th minute. When the referee ended the match the Periseiro players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
