Luís Paulo Cardoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rubinho Araújo charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rubinho Araújo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ian Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horácio Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vivaldo Brodel, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Kauã Romero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Horácio Moreno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Quartel Moncada FC defense, Vivaldo Brodel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Horácio Moreno. The Quartel Moncada FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horácio Moreno should have stopped the shot. Kauã Romero struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Horácio Moreno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pitimbu. If Kauã Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kauã Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the match, Quartel Moncada FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vivaldo Brodel came free, but Horácio Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Quartel Moncada FC's Luís Paulo Cardoso got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pitimbu's Kauã Romero got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Quartel Moncada FC's goalkeeper Horácio Moreno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Vivaldo Brodel made the kick off in the second half. In the 62nd play minute Kauã Romero came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Horácio Moreno. 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Neto in the 66th minute of play forced Pitimbu's goalkeeper Wilian Mello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kauã Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Quartel Moncada FC booed when Pitimbu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubinho Araújo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ademir Mota was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 81st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Pitimbu's Rubinho Araújo got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Ademir Mota took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wilian Mello. Pitimbu's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Pitimbu's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Neto came free, but Wilian Mello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilian Mello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Paulo Cardoso in the 89th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Vivaldo Brodel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pitimbu's supporters rose to their feet, but Vivaldo Brodel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horácio Moreno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pitimbu played a much better game than Quartel Moncada FC and deserved their victory. The Quartel Moncada FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
