Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Flávio Tinoco started the match with the kick off. João Vítor Xavier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flávio Tinoco, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. When Dionísio Abraão fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ipuassu's protests and gave Dionísio Abraão a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th minute, Dionísio Abraão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucas Mattos's late challenge caught a Mundahu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucas Mattos helped the player get up and apologised. 10 minutes into the match, Ipuassu's goal looked a bit too open when Flávio Tinoco came free, but João Vítor Xavier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serginho Albuquerque's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Vítor Xavier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Serginho Albuquerque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. João Vítor Xavier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Serginho Albuquerque managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mundahu's supporters rose to their feet, but Serginho Albuquerque was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Vítor Xavier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mundahu's Kiko Novaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willian Santos in the 25th minute of play. After 29 minutes of play, Mundahu's Serginho Albuquerque made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Vítor Xavier was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kiko Novaes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willian Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flávio Tinoco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. João Vítor Xavier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ipuassu's zone, Serginho Albuquerque stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Vítor Xavier came out of the goal and Serginho Albuquerque tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Willian Santos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Dionísio Abraão could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Kiko Novaes however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Mundahu's Décio Rodrigues got a free kick in the 55th minute. When Dionísio Abraão came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Ipuassu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dionísio Abraão couldn't finish the play. In the 62nd minute, Décio Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Kiko Novaes managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Ipuassu's Dionísio Abraão fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dionísio Abraão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kiko Novaes having to interfere. The supporters of Ipuassu booed when Mundahu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manfredo Massa didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Flávio Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th match minute, Ipuassu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Douglas Ortiz to maneuver through the defense.
