Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alfredão Azevedo got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Estrada Timbé FC's Duda Salles got a free kick in the 7th minute. Osvaldinho Koehler didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Willian Santos went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Caco Valle came free with the goalkeeper in the 13th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and João Vítor Xavier could save by the left post. In the 14th minute, Caco Valle fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of João Vítor Xavier, passed just outside the right post. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Alfredão Azevedo took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for João Vítor Xavier to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Ipuassu getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Eduardo Medeiros hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Ipuassu's Eduardo Medeiros got a free kick in the 27th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Alfredão Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estrada Timbé FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredão Azevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Vítor Xavier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Willian Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Osvaldinho Koehler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Dionísio Abraão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldinho Koehler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Caco Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Vítor Xavier having to interfere. Dionísio Abraão's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Osvaldinho Koehler skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, Estrada Timbé FC's Osvaldinho Koehler got control of the ball when Willian Santos tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 64th minute of the game. One of Estrada Timbé FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ipuassu:s goal. Dionísio Abraão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Caco Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduardo Medeiros was shown his second yellow card after 76 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 77th minute, Eduardo Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredão Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Vítor Xavier having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Estrada Timbé FC's Magno Tande got a free kick in the 85th minute. Ipuassu's Dionísio Abraão got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. João Vítor Xavier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caco Valle in the 90th minute of the match. Caco Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Vítor Xavier having to interfere. In the 100th minute, Lucas Mattos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Ipuassu supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ipuassu would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
