Natã Guedes charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Natã Guedes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of DECANINI booed when Paratuba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natã Guedes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Paratuba's goalkeeper Ernesto de Carvalho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had been going on for 17 minutes, Paratuba's Falcão Gomes got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Reginaldo Campidelis. Cido dos Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Reginaldo Campidelis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Hélder Mesquita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, DECANINI's goal looked a bit too open when Hélder Mesquita came free, but Reginaldo Campidelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Cido dos Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. During the 36th minute of the match Natã Guedes completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Natã Guedes a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Paratuba getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Natã Guedes hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Doni Quirino in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernesto de Carvalho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cido dos Santos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Reginaldo Campidelis made a huge save. 41 minutes into the game, Thiago Matorin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paratuba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DECANINI the free kick. Thiago Matorin hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match.

Vágner Lira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the game, DECANINI's Doni Quirino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ernesto de Carvalho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cido dos Santos in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reginaldo Campidelis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ernesto de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vágner Lira in the 92nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Paratuba defense, Doni Quirino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ernesto de Carvalho. The Paratuba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ernesto de Carvalho should have stopped the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched DECANINI eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
