The audience was convinced that Richard Hoffmann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antônio Carlos Santos was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. A hard shot 8 in the game by Aloísio Cunha from a close distance when the talented Antônio Carlos Santos managed to make a qualified save. Loanda's players were relieved. Kléber Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cafu de Queiroz having to interfere. Richard Hoffmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Antônio Carlos Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, Eliézer de Sousa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Espadim SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Loanda the free kick. Eliézer de Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Kléber Sena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Loanda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Aloísio Cunha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antônio Carlos Santos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute Richard Hoffmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Carlos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Aloísio Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Richard Hoffmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Antônio Carlos Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guto Lucas charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guto Lucas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Espadim SS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Loanda were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reginaldo Ceresso to make the kick off. Antônio Carlos Santos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Richard Hoffmann went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Cafu de Queiroz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reginaldo Ceresso in the 57th minute. Kléber Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cafu de Queiroz having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aloísio Cunha in the 63rd minute of play forced Loanda's goalkeeper Antônio Carlos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Espadim SS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kléber Sena fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 67 minutes into the match, Espadim SS's goalkeeper Cafu de Queiroz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kléber Sena. In the 69th minute Loanda were awarded a corner. Fellipe Baiano went to the cornerflag to take it. When Emanuel Maia fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Loanda's protests and gave Emanuel Maia a yellow card for diving instead. Emanuel Maia kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Kléber Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Loanda's supporters rose to their feet, but Kléber Sena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cafu de Queiroz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th minute, Kléber Sena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Loanda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 93 minutes into the match, Loanda's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Hoffmann came free, but Antônio Carlos Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Kléber Sena got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Loanda had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
