If Wágner Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 7 minutes into the match, Celsinho Souto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sabino Vieira. Abare SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celsinho Souto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. If Celsinho Souto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute of the match, Wágner Lima tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sabino Vieira saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Abare SS's Sabino Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wágner Lima in the 21st minute of play. Abare SS's Sydney Schmidt got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Celsinho Souto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 29 minutes, Wágner Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Agrizzi ES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wágner Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Celsinho Souto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Sabino Vieira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Wágner Lima succeeded in the game's 44th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. Wágner Lima might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sabino Vieira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wágner Lima ran back to his position shaking his head.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wágner Lima was the one to do the kick off. Sabino Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wágner Lima in the 53rd minute of play. After 54 played minutes Agrizzi ES got a freekick which was hit by Robin van Persie. Sabino Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wágner Lima in the 59th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Agrizzi ES's Celsinho Souto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sabino Vieira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arlindo Brasil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sydney Schmidt in the 69th minute. Régis Penha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Arlindo Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 73rd minute by Sydney Schmidt got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gláuber de Carvalho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sabino Vieira. Abare SS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Wágner Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wágner Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sabino Vieira having to interfere. A collision led to Abare SS getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Flavinho Cosme hit a great ball. After having played for 94 minutes, Wágner Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Agrizzi ES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wágner Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Abare SS getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Régis Penha hit a great ball. Celsinho Souto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Glauco Coelho's late challenge caught a Agrizzi ES's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Glauco Coelho helped the player get up and apologised. In the 100th match minute, Abare SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glauco Coelho to maneuver through the defense. In the 101st minute of the match Pedrinho Urbano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sabino Vieira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Agrizzi ES fully deserved thier win.
