Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Arnoreso AD's Percival Loureiro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Laércio de Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Arnoreso AD's zone, Laércio de Moraes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcinho Salgado came out of the goal and Laércio de Moraes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Laércio de Moraess short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Marcinho Salgado to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 18th minute, Laércio de Moraes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcinho Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Recife, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Recife in the 26th minute of play forced Arnoreso AD's goalkeeper Marcinho Salgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Percival Loureiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Francisco Peres. Goyania EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Percival Loureiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 39 minutes into the match, Arnoreso AD's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Recife came free, but Marcinho Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Francisco Peres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Percival Loureiro in the 40th minute of the match. Válter de Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. If Juvenal Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diogo Gomes hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. When Goyania EC's Rafael Recife in the 49th minute got a chance for a shot 49th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arnoreso AD's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 53 minutes of play, Goyania EC's Laércio de Moraes made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcinho Salgado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Diogo Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. João Francisco Peres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Goyania EC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Cícero Esteves hit a great ball. Rafael Recife fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcinho Salgado having to interfere. Laércio de Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcinho Salgado having to interfere. Percival Loureiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arnoreso AD's goalkeeper Marcinho Salgado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Goyania EC's João Francisco Peres got control of the ball when Diogo Gomes tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Goyania EC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Arnoreso AD had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
