Ernani Prado kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Rafael Recife shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxim Burdujan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodrigo Faustino hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Rafael Recife recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laércio de Moraes in the 35th minute of play forced PokoPika F.C's goalkeeper Maxim Burdujan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Válter de Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxim Burdujan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to PokoPika F.C getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Ricardinho Guerra hit a great ball. After having played for 40 minutes, Maurinho Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PokoPika F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maurinho Correia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rafael Recife fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxim Burdujan having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maurinho Correia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 57 minutes, Maurinho Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PokoPika F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maurinho Correia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute, Rafael Recife fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Maxim Burdujan, passed just outside the right post. Maurinho Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. João Francisco Peres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maurinho Correia in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Francisco Peres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maurinho Correia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Francisco Peres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Chicão Velasco hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Laércio de Moraes might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maxim Burdujan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Laércio de Moraes ran back to his position shaking his head. Rafael Recife sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
