After some careless play in the Bertanholi SS defense, Luizinho Valle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eurico Valladares. The Bertanholi SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eurico Valladares should have stopped the shot. Claudinei Gaúcho kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Frederico Rosado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Bertanholi SS booed when Geraldino FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gláuber Berger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eurico Valladares didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Geraldino FC's Jairo Pinheiro shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 21st minute, Tomé Guedes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jairo Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jairo Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, Fiori de Brito had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matheus Quintal. Geraldino FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fiori de Brito was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 35thth minute of the game Jairo Pinheiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bertanholi SS's Eurico Valladares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 37 minutes, Luizinho Valle made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Bertanholi SS's Eurico Valladares tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Zeca Marinho hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the match, Bertanholi SS's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Pinheiro came free, but Eurico Valladares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute of the match Décio Pimenta sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eurico Valladares skillfully saved the ball. When Luizinho Valle came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Geraldino FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luizinho Valle couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Eurico Valladares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Pinheiro in the 54th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the game, José Augusto Batista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bertanholi SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Geraldino FC the free kick. Zeca Marinho kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute of the match Décio Pimenta shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eurico Valladares showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fiori de Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Matheus Quintal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jairo Pinheiro fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Geraldino FC's protests and gave Jairo Pinheiro a yellow card for diving instead. After 71 played minutes Geraldino FC got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Pinheiro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Pinheiro in the 74th minute of play forced Bertanholi SS's goalkeeper Eurico Valladares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gláuber Berger succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-5 in the 77th playminute. Eurico Valladares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jairo Pinheiro's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. After a rather tough play, Bertanholi SS's José Augusto Batista got a free kick in the 85th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Geraldino FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frederico Rosado came free, but Matheus Quintal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luizinho Valle took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eurico Valladares. Eurico Valladares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 1-7 when Luizinho Valle sped through Bertanholi SS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eurico Valladares. Geraldino FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
