Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Frederico Rosado made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute, Diamantino de Almeida got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 8th minute, Aloísio Tepedino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Apiacá FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Zeca Marinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Elder de Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Apiacá FC's zone, Frederico Rosado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elder de Amaral came out of the goal and Frederico Rosado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zeca Marinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eurico Valladares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diamantino de Almeida in the 22nd minute of play. Fiori de Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elder de Amaral having to interfere. When Frederico Rosado came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Bertanholi SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frederico Rosado couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Apiacá FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Márcio Vargas hit a great ball. Fiori de Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elder de Amaral having to interfere. Fiori de Brito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Elder de Amaral made a huge save. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diamantino de Almeida to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederico Rosado in the 58th minute of play forced Apiacá FC's goalkeeper Elder de Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Apiacá FC defense, Fiori de Brito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elder de Amaral. The Apiacá FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elder de Amaral should have stopped the shot. Elder de Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederico Rosado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frederico Rosado struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Elder de Amaral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bertanholi SS. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Frederico Rosado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bertanholi SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Frederico Rosado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elder de Amaral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eurico Valladares came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Apiacá FC's Aloísio Tepedino. But to his dismay, Aloísio Tepedino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Fiori de Brito struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Elder de Amaral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bertanholi SS. José Augusto Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Eurico Valladares was out of position in the 97 minute of play, and Aloísio Tepedino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aloísio Tepedino really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3.
