In the 6th minute Renan de Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remo da Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mandacaia's Dalmo Lucas got a free kick in the 10th minute. Egídio de Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celso Villasana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Egídio de Andrade made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renan de Amaral in the 32nd minute of play forced Maloca's goalkeeper Remo da Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
