The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Pedro Goiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Goiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. João Carlos Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Guilherme da Cunha reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luiz Guilherme Linares. The goal made the score 1-0. Luiz Guilherme Linares was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Maicon Batista. Taquari EC's Cláudio Toscano got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olívio Xavier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Guilherme Linares having to interfere. If Olívio Xavier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luiz Guilherme Linares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guilherme da Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olívio Xavier struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Luiz Guilherme Linares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Taquari EC. Olívio Xavier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Guilherme Linares having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Taquari EC's Olívio Xavier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Guilherme Linares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Pedro Goiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The wind increased when Guilherme da Cunha made the kick off in the second half. Olívio Xavier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Guilherme Linares having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Guilherme da Cunha notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Bebedouro EC's Luiz Guilherme Linares. Luiz Guilherme Linares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 57th minute, Murilo Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute, Pedro Goiano fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of João Carlos Figueiredo, passed just outside the right post. If Ian de Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Serginho Peixoto, 62 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Olívio Xavier scored 3-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luiz Guilherme Linares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 76th minute, Waldemar Duarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Caco Cardozo during the 80th minute. Bebedouro EC's Luiz Guilherme Linares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olívio Xavier in the 82nd minute of play. With a little luck, Taquari EC's João Carlos Figueiredo got control of the ball when Ian de Mendonça tried to sneak it across the goal line. Murilo Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the game, Taquari EC's Olívio Xavier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luiz Guilherme Linares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Taquari EC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
