Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Flavinho Urbano took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Flavinho Urbano in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felippe de Toledo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 6 minutes, Inácio Peres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juventus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inácio Peres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Flavinho Urbano struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Felippe de Toledo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juventus FC. Conrado Carvalho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Betinho de Moraes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Flavinho Urbano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felippe de Toledo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inácio Peres in the 20th minute of play forced Ourofina's goalkeeper Felippe de Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavinho Urbano might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felippe de Toledo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Flavinho Urbano ran back to his position shaking his head. Felippe de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavinho Urbano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ourofina! In the 28th minute there was a penalty for Juventus FC. Lenílson Torres stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Felippe de Toledo. 1-1. Conrado Carvalho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Betinho de Moraes made a huge save. 39 minutes into the match, Ourofina's goal looked a bit too open when Inácio Peres came free, but Felippe de Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ourofina's zone, Inácio Peres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felippe de Toledo came out of the goal and Inácio Peres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nilmar Cardoso was the one to do the kick off. If Flavinho Urbano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Inácio Peres might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felippe de Toledo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Inácio Peres ran back to his position shaking his head. David Mendes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Felippe de Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armando de Mendonça during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Juventus FC booed when Ourofina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando de Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. During the 67th minute of the match Armando de Mendonça completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Armando de Mendonça a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 68th match minute, Ourofina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando de Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. Inácio Peres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Felippe de Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Inácio Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavinho Urbano struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Flavinho Urbano in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felippe de Toledo saved Ourofina from getting behind. Ourofina's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Flavinho Urbano 90 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Conrado Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betinho de Moraes having to interfere. Juventus FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
