The Santarem SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Felippe de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Jacinto in the 16th minute of play. After 18 minutes, Leonardo Baptista made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Ourofina's Felippe de Toledo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Felippe de Toledo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Jacinto went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 29th minute, Leonardo Baptista made a precise shot to the right of Felippe de Toledo. Ourofina's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Edgard Rosa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. João Jacinto hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Edgard Rosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nilmar Cardoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 47 played minutes Ourofina got a freekick which was hit by Armando de Mendonça. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

Edgard Rosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilmar Cardoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After a rather tough play, Santarem SS's Paulinho Pirani got a free kick in the 61st minute. Edgard Rosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Carvalho in the 67th minute of play. After 68 played minutes Santarem SS got a freekick which was hit by Jânio Reis. 71 minutes into the match, Santarem SS's goal looked a bit too open when Nilmar Cardoso came free, but Edgard Rosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgard Rosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando de Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. João Jacinto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonardo Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Ourofina getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Filipe de Alcântara hit a great ball. In the 81st minute João Jacinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felippe de Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armando de Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Leonardo Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Felippe de Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Ourofina getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Armando de Mendonça hit a great ball. Felippe de Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Jacinto in the 91st minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Santarem SS walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
