Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ciro Trigo made the kick off and thus started the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jarbas Neves got free with Percy Soares in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sandrinho de Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Ronaldinho de Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute of the match Manoel Mumbach sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Percy Soares skillfully saved the ball. Edson Toscano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Percy Soares made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Sobral F.C.'s zone, Olívio Barbosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Percy Soares came out of the goal and Olívio Barbosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Percy Soares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jarbas Neves in the 30th minute. When Anísio Sousa came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Sobral F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anísio Sousa couldn't finish the play. 33 minutes into the game, Natanael Novaes threw the ball into play from the sideline. Sobral F.C.'s Juninho Negri quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Lucas Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kléberson de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manoel Mumbach took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Percy Soares. Sobral F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Juninho Negri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sobral F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Perdoes SS the free kick. In the 40th minute, Juninho Negri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juninho Negri in the 44th minute of play forced Perdoes SS's goalkeeper Lucas Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Perdoes SS's Pedro Paulo Seco dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anísio Sousa made a kick off. If Anísio Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, Sobral F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Trigo came free, but Percy Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute Edson Toscano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Percy Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Anísio Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sobral F.C.'s Anísio Sousa got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lucas Medeiros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anísio Sousa went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Sobral F.C.'s Anísio Sousa got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kléberson de Souza during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kléberson de Souza hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Anísio Sousa fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Clóvis Macedo came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Sobral F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clóvis Macedo couldn't finish the play. Percy Soares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Paulo Seco went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Perdoes SS's Lucas Medeiros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Perdoes SS from getting a goal against them. Percy Soares came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Perdoes SS's Jarbas Neves. But to his dismay, Jarbas Neves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 93rd minute Ciro Trigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Percy Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Sobral F.C. defense, Ciro Trigo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Percy Soares. The Sobral F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Percy Soares should have stopped the shot. Many of Sobral F.C.'s supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Sobral F.C. may have spent more time on the ball, but Perdoes SS were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
