Osmar Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juarês Perez, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After having played for 15 minutes, Orlando Veloso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maragogipe SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orlando Veloso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Osmar Valle managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Futebol Clube F.C.'s Fabrício da Silveira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Osmar Valle made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Fabrício da Silveira sent off a good shot on target. Valdomiro Souto struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Osmar Valle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Futebol Clube F.C.. When Fabrício da Silveira came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Futebol Clube F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabrício da Silveira couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabrício da Silveira got free with Osmar Valle in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Juarês Perez made the kick off in the second half. Maragogipe SC's Orlando Veloso got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juarês Perez scored 2-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Osmar Valle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 61st minute Orlando Veloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 62 played minutes Futebol Clube F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Valdomiro Souto. If Fabrício da Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juarês Perez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osmar Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrício da Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Osmar Valle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabrício da Silveira's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Fabrício da Silveira scored 3-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Osmar Valle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Osmar Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrício da Silveira in the 97th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Futebol Clube F.C. had played much better football throughout.
