Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Orlando Veloso took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jaguaraci's Leandro Valle got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tiaguinho Bittencourt made in the 7th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Serafim Valladares immediately put the ball in play. If Gilmar Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute, Luciano Meirelles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilmar Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osmar Valle having to interfere. Jaguaraci's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Orlando Veloso 19 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Luiz Fabiano Toscano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gilmar Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute, Gilmar Moura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Maragogipe SC's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Quirino came free, but Osmar Valle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Gilmar Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osmar Valle having to interfere. Gilmar Moura's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Osmar Valle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Armando Paranaense kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After 56 played minutes, Maragogipe SC's Luiz Fabiano Sabóia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper José Maria Berger came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Maragogipe SC reached it. If Gilmar Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaguaraci's José Maria Berger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafim Valladares in the 62nd minute of play. When Gilmar Moura came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Jaguaraci fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilmar Moura couldn't finish the play. José Maria Berger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafim Valladares, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. If Leandro Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the game, Jaguaraci's Gilmar Moura nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Osmar Valle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Maragogipe SC's zone, Ciro Quirino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osmar Valle came out of the goal and Ciro Quirino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd minute Gilmar Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osmar Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armando Paranaense hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Maragogipe SC's Orlando Veloso got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gilmar Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maragogipe SC's Osmar Valle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Maragogipe SC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilmar Moura in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osmar Valle saved Maragogipe SC from getting behind. After 95 played minutes Gilmar Moura could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 1-3 into the left cross. When the match was over Jaguaraci could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Maragogipe SC throughout the match.
