Claudinei Porto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Guto das Neves made a huge save. In the 5th minute, Camacandi AD's Eliézer Pombal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Rio Branco de Andradas FC's zone, Eliézer Pombal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guto das Neves came out of the goal and Eliézer Pombal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the match, Claudinei Porto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guto das Neves. Rio Branco de Andradas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudinei Porto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Eliézer Pombal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Guto das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rio Branco de Andradas FC's Guto das Neves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Rio Branco de Andradas FC from getting a goal against them. In the 27th minute, Vânderson Salgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliézer Pombal struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Guto das Neves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Camacandi AD. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Rio Branco de Andradas FC's goalkeeper Guto das Neves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Rio Branco de Andradas FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Sidnei Corrêa hit a great ball. If Eliézer Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 36 minutes into the game, Camacandi AD's Claudinei Porto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guto das Neves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. César de Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benjamim Pernambucano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tibúrcio Saraiva in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Eliézer Pombal put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Guto das Neves. In the 62nd minute Eliézer Pombal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guto das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Rio Branco de Andradas FC's zone, Eliézer Pombal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guto das Neves came out of the goal and Eliézer Pombal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guto das Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliézer Pombal in the 65th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eliézer Pombal in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guto das Neves saved Rio Branco de Andradas FC from getting behind. Claudinei Porto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guto das Neves having to interfere. Guto das Neves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eliézer Pombal's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. The Camacandi AD fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Camacandi AD's Eliézer Pombal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 83rd match minute, Camacandi AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulysses Sampaio to maneuver through the defense. Eliézer Pombal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Camacandi AD's goal looked a bit too open when Tibúrcio Saraiva came free, but Benjamim Pernambucano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Eliézer Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudinei Porto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guto das Neves having to interfere. Eliézer Pombal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Guto das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Camacandi AD players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
