The supporters of Bezerros booed when Gerencia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enéas Peixoto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd match minute, Bezerros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cláudio Lara to maneuver through the defense. Enéas Peixoto struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Fellipe Pirani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gerencia. 28 minutes into the match, Bezerros's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Antunes came free, but Fellipe Pirani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute Zé Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fellipe Pirani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Antunes in the 33rd minute of play forced Bezerros's goalkeeper Fellipe Pirani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 34 played minutes Bezerros got a freekick which was hit by Dito Lima. When Gerencia's Zé Antunes in 35 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Fellipe Pirani guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. The audience was convinced that Zé Antunes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fellipe Pirani was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. A collision led to Bezerros getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Samuel Vergílio hit a great ball. Zé Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fellipe Pirani having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 53rd minute of the match, Zé Antunes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fellipe Pirani saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 56 minutes into the match, Bezerros's Tales Porto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Túlio Travassos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zé Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tony Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Fellipe Pirani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Gerencia's zone, Tales Porto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Túlio Travassos came out of the goal and Tales Porto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 70 minutes into the match, Bezerros's goalkeeper Fellipe Pirani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tony Pires. Bezerros's Fellipe Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Antunes in the 74th minute of play. After 74 played minutes Bezerros got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Fantini. Tony Pires in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fellipe Pirani, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 85th minute, Enéas Peixoto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alessandro Galvão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fellipe Pirani having to interfere. Gerencia's Zé Antunes got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bezerros succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Gerencia had controlled the match.
