Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute Luiz Fernando Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tião Rosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gildo Bueno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 17 played minutes Jao SC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Augusto Freitas. When Almir Neves, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 19 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Guilherme Guerra was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Vinícius Bastos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Tião Rosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute Kiko do Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tião Rosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Fernando Miranda scored 0-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tião Rosa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jao SC's Guilherme Guerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Almir Neves in the 35th minute of play. Elias da Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Amílton Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tião Rosa having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Edinho Gerber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute of the match Carlos Augusto Freitas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tião Rosa skillfully saved the ball. Jao SC's Guilherme Guerra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 49th minute of the match, managed to save Jao SC from getting a goal against them.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Almir Neves to make the kick off. If Gildo Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jao SC's Luiz Fernando Miranda got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guilherme Guerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gildo Bueno in the 68th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Jao SC's Vinícius Bastos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tião Rosa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gildo Bueno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guilherme Guerra having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Cambaquara AD's goal looked a bit too open when Vinícius Bastos came free, but Tião Rosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Jao SC's goal looked a bit too open when Gildo Bueno came free, but Guilherme Guerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gildo Bueno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guilherme Guerra having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Jao SC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cambaquara AD.
