Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Christian Paiva kicked off to start the match. If Beto Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Noel Lira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Quirino having to interfere. Efigenia's José Paulo Furtado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Paiva in the 6th minute of play. Frank Hermes struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Conrado Quirino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Efigenia. Fabiano Arce charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabiano Arce the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Paramirim's Fabiano Arce got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 19thth minute of the game Christian Paiva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Efigenia's José Paulo Furtado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paramirim's Christian Paiva got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 29 minutes, Magno Fontes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Efigenia and the Paramirim players grew even worse after the yellow card. 29 minutes into the game, one of Efigenia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Efigenia:s José Paulo Furtado showed great skill when he stopped Téo Baptista:s penalty. 32 minutes into the match, Christian Paiva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Paulo Furtado. Efigenia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christian Paiva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Hermes in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Conrado Quirino saved Paramirim from getting behind. Christian Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Paramirim were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Noel Lira to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Noel Lira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 55thth minute of the game Noel Lira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paramirim's Conrado Quirino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 61 played minutes Efigenia got a freekick which was hit by Beto Gerber. After 63 played minutes Efigenia got a freekick which was hit by Beto Gerber. Efigenia's Frank Hermes got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Noel Lira took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Conrado Quirino. Conrado Quirino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Paramirim's Conrado Quirino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beto Gerber in the 82nd minute of play. Fabiano Arce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Conrado Quirino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noel Lira in the 87th minute of play. After having played for 88 minutes, Beto Gerber managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Efigenia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beto Gerber was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 89th minute Noel Lira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrado Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
