Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rodriguinho Guerra got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes in the game, Tarcisio Cordeiro dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 10th minute Rodriguinho Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Francisco Maia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduardo Vargas charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eduardo Vargas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eduardo Vargas hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. A.C Boleiros's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Rodriguinho Guerra 19 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tarcisio Cordeiro in the 25th minute of play forced Ari FC's goalkeeper Guga Aparecido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guga Aparecido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo José Netto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodriguinho Guerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. João Francisco Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A.C Boleiros's João Francisco Maia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodriguinho Guerra in the 35th minute of play. If Marcelinho Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tarcisio Cordeiro made a kick off. João Francisco Maia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodriguinho Guerra in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, Ernani Bastos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A.C Boleiros's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ari FC the free kick. In the 54th match minute, A.C Boleiros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernani Bastos to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in A.C Boleiros's zone, Marcelinho Messias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Francisco Maia came out of the goal and Marcelinho Messias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. João Francisco Maia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodriguinho Guerra in the 58th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ari FC's zone, Ricardo Zonta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guga Aparecido came out of the goal and Ricardo Zonta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Paulo José Netto came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the A.C Boleiros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo José Netto couldn't finish the play. 87 minutes into the match, Rodriguinho Guerra notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of A.C Boleiros's João Francisco Maia. João Francisco Maia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcelinho Messias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Francisco Maia having to interfere. Ari FC's Marcelinho Messias got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
