Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vicente Alvarenga got the match started through his kick off. Ari FC's Adalberto Dantas got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelinho Messias got free with Giovanni Guedes in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcelinho Messias struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Giovanni Guedes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ari FC. The supporters of Ari FC booed when Amambera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cássio Berger didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute, Marcelinho Messias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ari FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Amambera's Giovanni Guedes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Amambera from getting a goal against them. After 27 played minutes Ari FC got a freekick which was hit by Adalberto Dantas. The supporters of Ari FC booed when Amambera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Acácio de Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. A long shot from Adalberto Dantas in the 31st minute of play was well struck, but Giovanni Guedes made a really good save at the right post. With an all-out effort, Ari FC's Giovanni Guedes threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rodriguinho Guerra, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Marcelinho Messias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Giovanni Guedes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Amambera's Giovanni Guedes got control of the ball when Marcelinho Messias tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Amambera getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Rodriguinho Velloso hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Ari FC's Giovanni Guedes threw himself towards the right post 48 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rodriguinho Guerra, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rodriguinho Guerra was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Ari FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelinho Messias. Vicente Alvarenga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Guga Aparecido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Marcelinho Messias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giovanni Guedes. Amambera's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcelinho Messias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Giovanni Guedes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelinho Messias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Amambera getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Acácio de Almeida hit a great ball. Rodriguinho Guerra took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giovanni Guedes. Giovanni Guedes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Giovanni Guedes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodriguinho Guerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giovanni Guedes came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Ari FC's Marcelinho Messias. But to his dismay, Marcelinho Messias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. In the 79th minute Eduardo Vargas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovanni Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giovanni Guedes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelinho Messias in the 80th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Vicente Alvarenga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guga Aparecido was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. When Eduardo Vargas fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ari FC's protests and gave Eduardo Vargas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 82nd match minute, Ari FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Vargas to maneuver through the defense. Giovanni Guedes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelinho Messias in the 84th minute of play. Marcelinho Messias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ari FC fully deserved thier win.
