Fernandinho Pereira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nelsinho Vasconcelos in the 3rd minute of the match. José Carlos Ramos's late challenge caught a Pimental's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Carlos Ramos helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ipaussu's José Carlos Ramos got a free kick in the 4th minute. Marcus Netto hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the game, Pimental's Afonso Valle nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emerson Batista made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Nelsinho Vasconcelos took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernandinho Pereira. Fernandinho Pereira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 16th minute, Afonso Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Ipaussu's Arí Baptista got a free kick in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diamantino de Toledo in the 20th minute of play forced Pimental's goalkeeper Fernandinho Pereira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernandinho Pereira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruninho Brasil in the 23rd minute of play. Pimental's Fernandinho Pereira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diamantino de Toledo in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Pimental's goal looked a bit too open when Nelsinho Vasconcelos came free, but Fernandinho Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Bruninho Brasil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ipaussu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pimental the free kick. The supporters of Pimental booed when Ipaussu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruninho Brasil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernandinho Pereira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diamantino de Toledo in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Afonso Valle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pimental's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ipaussu the free kick. The supporters of Ipaussu booed when Pimental was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernandinho Pereira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diamantino de Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Pimental's goal looked a bit too open when Nelsinho Vasconcelos came free, but Fernandinho Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernandinho Pereira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelsinho Vasconcelos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diamantino de Toledo in the 44th minute of play forced Pimental's goalkeeper Fernandinho Pereira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Pimental's Afonso Valle nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baltasar Lope was the one to do the kick off. Luiz Guilherme Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Pimental booed when Ipaussu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruninho Brasil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emerson Batista came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Pimental's Ezequiel Penha. But to his dismay, Ezequiel Penha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Luiz Guilherme Mendes struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Emerson Batista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pimental. Fernandinho Pereira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nelsinho Vasconcelos in the 64th minute of the match. When Afonso Valle was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 65 minutes had been played. After 66 played minutes Pimental got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Valle. After 68 played minutes Pimental got a freekick which was hit by Dionísio Bueno. Ipaussu's Luiz Fábio Cosme shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 69th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Fernandinho Pereira but with some difficulty. Pimental's Fernandinho Pereira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Pimental from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Ipaussu booed when Pimental was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo da Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pimental's Fernandinho Pereira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Pimental from getting a goal against them. In the 86th minute, Luiz Guilherme Mendes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 93rd minute, Luiz Fábio Cosme sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pimental's Fernandinho Pereira didn't even have to move. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pimental fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ipaussu had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
