Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ipaussu's Nelsinho Vasconcelos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vítor Marinho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diamantino de Toledo in the 6th minute. Ipaussu's Diamantino de Toledo got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Novos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Nelsinho Vasconcelos scored to the left of an out of position Vítor Marinho, making the score, 1-0. If Nelsinho Vasconcelos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the game, Nelsinho Vasconcelos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Vítor Marinho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Diamantino de Toledo came free with the goalkeeper in the 20th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vítor Marinho could save by the left post. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Nelsinho Vasconcelos took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Vítor Marinho to make any attempt to save it. 28 minutes into the match, Nelsinho Vasconcelos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vítor Marinho, 4-0. Edinho Vander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute of the match, Nelsinho Vasconcelos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vítor Marinho saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Nelsinho Vasconcelos came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Ipaussu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nelsinho Vasconcelos couldn't finish the play. Nelsinho Vasconcelos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 47 minutes, Diamantino de Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ipaussu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diamantino de Toledo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The wind increased when Edinho Vander made the kick off in the second half. Dorival Faria hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Nelsinho Vasconcelos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Vítor Marinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vítor Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nelsinho Vasconcelos in the 60th minute of the match. Vítor Marinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelsinho Vasconcelos, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Diamantino de Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69thth minute of the game Diamantino de Toledo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Novos's Vítor Marinho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vítor Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diamantino de Toledo in the 71st minute of the match. Novos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Nelsinho Vasconcelos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. In the 91st minute, José Carlos Ramos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vítor Marinho was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Vítor Marinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelsinho Vasconcelos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Novos's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
