After a rather tough play, Cajoeira EC's Luizão Hoffmann got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Hamílton Koehler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Brasil having to interfere. Sílvio Silveira charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sílvio Silveira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 24 minutes into the game, one of Cajoeira EC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Lucas Brasil, was totally fooled by Cantagallo SS's Vinícius Maranhense, who 26 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Hamílton Koehler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evandro Paes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armindo Penha having to interfere. 41 minutes into the game, Aluísio Senna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cantagallo SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cajoeira EC the free kick. Aluísio Senna hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. A collision led to Cantagallo SS getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Aluísio Senna hit a great ball. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cantagallo SS! In the 47th minute there was a penalty for Cajoeira EC. Nico Miranda stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Armindo Penha. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evandro Paes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 67th minute Evandro Paes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Cajoeira EC defense, Hamílton Koehler kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucas Brasil. The Cajoeira EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucas Brasil should have stopped the shot. Arthur Quadros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cajoeira EC's Lucas Brasil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arthur Quadros in the 77th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Cantagallo SS's goalkeeper Armindo Penha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Nascimento. Evandro Paes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Armindo Penha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Arthur Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Carlos de Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Rafael Nascimento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Armindo Penha made a huge save. If Arthur Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucas Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdo Vergílio, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cantagallo SS had won after a very even match.
