A collision led to Granjeiro SS getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Giuseppe Vides hit a great ball. Delfim Pernambucano's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Luiz Guilherme dos Santos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 16th minute, Pedro Paulo de Almeida made a precise shot to the right of Horácio Barreto. GAINO FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, GAINO FC's Arild Thomassen got a free kick in the 20th minute. Delfim Pernambucano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Luiz Guilherme dos Santos made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raimundo de Sena in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Guilherme dos Santos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26th minute, Giuseppe Vides hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raimundo de Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Guilherme dos Santos having to interfere. After 32 minutes of play, Granjeiro SS's Pedro Paulo de Almeida made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Horácio Barreto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Renatinho Furlan kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Cido Massa sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and GAINO FC's Horácio Barreto didn't even have to move. Clóvis Vianna took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horácio Barreto. Horácio Barreto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The supporters of GAINO FC booed when Granjeiro SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilmar Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Paulo de Almeida in the 48th minute of play forced GAINO FC's goalkeeper Horácio Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Granjeiro SS were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Raimundo de Sena made the kick off in the second half. Inácio Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Guilherme dos Santos having to interfere. Luiz Guilherme dos Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo de Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute, Clóvis Vianna made a precise shot to the right of Horácio Barreto. GAINO FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Horácio Barreto was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Pedro Paulo de Almeida capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pedro Paulo de Almeida really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo de Sena in the 75th minute of play forced Granjeiro SS's goalkeeper Luiz Guilherme dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in GAINO FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! Cido Massa did an outstanding performance 82 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 0-6 to the right of an irritated Horácio Barreto in the goal. 85 minutes into the match, GAINO FC's Raimundo de Sena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Guilherme dos Santos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Inácio Luz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luiz Guilherme dos Santos having to make a save. Nilmar Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Granjeiro SS's zone, Delfim Pernambucano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Guilherme dos Santos came out of the goal and Delfim Pernambucano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raimundo de Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Guilherme dos Santos having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Granjeiro SS walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
