Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Hamílton Cosme started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. William Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamílton Cosme in the 5th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Coruripe's Hamílton Cosme dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. William Velasco made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Dorival Donato sent off a good shot on target. Dorival Donato recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Dorival Donato managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coruripe's supporters rose to their feet, but Dorival Donato was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. William Velasco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 20thth minute of the game Hamílton Cosme who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grêmio FBPA's William Velasco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Grêmio FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Hamílton Cosme came free, but William Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dorival Donato's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but William Velasco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. When Coruripe's Hamílton Cosme in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Grêmio FBPA's goalie prevented a goal. In the 31st minute, Dorival Donato ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. William Velasco was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 36th minute of the game. One of Grêmio FBPA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Coruripe:s goal. In the 44th minute, Hamílton Cosme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dorival Donato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Velasco having to interfere. Dorival Donato could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but William Velasco made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gernando Amaral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dorival Donato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dorival Donato's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but William Velasco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Hamílton Cosme struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. William Velasco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coruripe. Hamílton Cosme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. William Velasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hamílton Cosme in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg William Velasco saved Grêmio FBPA from getting behind. Hamílton Cosme might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over William Velasco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hamílton Cosme ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Grêmio FBPA getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Raí Vidal hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Hamílton Cosme sped through Grêmio FBPA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of William Velasco. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hamílton Cosme in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck William Velasco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Grêmio FBPA's William Velasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorival Donato in the 84th minute of play. William Velasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamílton Cosme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamílton Cosme in the 94th minute of play forced Grêmio FBPA's goalkeeper William Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Coruripe walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
