The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the match, Sirinhaem EC's goal looked a bit too open when Thomás de Brito came free, but Michel Sampaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michel Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edu Cruz in the 22nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, César Medeiros put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Oscar Cordeiro. 30 minutes into the match, Sirinhaem EC's goal looked a bit too open when Thomás de Brito came free, but Michel Sampaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Vinícius Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Bocoroca's Jaime Borges got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 37th match minute, Bocoroca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aleandro Lopes to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute of the match Tarcisio de Mendonça shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oscar Cordeiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 39th minute Vinícius Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Cordeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hernani Maciel hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Bocoroca's Thomás de Brito got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edu Cruz to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Vinícius Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bocoroca's Oscar Cordeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by César Medeiros in the 73rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Vinícius Abreu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oscar Cordeiro was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. 84 minutes into the match, Bocoroca's goal looked a bit too open when Vinícius Abreu came free, but Oscar Cordeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
