Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gernando Amaral got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd minute, Joélson da Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Tarcisio de Mendonça came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Sirinhaem EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tarcisio de Mendonça couldn't finish the play. 7 minutes into the match, César Medeiros notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Grêmio FBPA's William Velasco. William Velasco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Gernando Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walmyr Vieira hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Grêmio FBPA's Gernando Amaral sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michel Sampaio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. William Velasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinícius Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 minutes, Gernando Amaral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grêmio FBPA and the Sirinhaem EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gernando Amaral hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. William Velasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinícius Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute, Vinícius Abreu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. William Velasco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Vinícius Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, Grêmio FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Vinícius Abreu came free, but William Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Vinícius Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sirinhaem EC's Marco Quirino got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The wind increased when Vinícius Abreu made the kick off in the second half. César Medeiros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without William Velasco having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vinícius Abreu in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck William Velasco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. César Medeiros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but William Velasco made a huge save. In the 60th minute Vinícius Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. César Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg William Velasco managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Sirinhaem EC's Vinícius Abreu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Vinícius Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Velasco having to interfere. If César Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the game, Valdir Tepedino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sirinhaem EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grêmio FBPA the free kick. After 84 played minutes Sirinhaem EC got a freekick which was hit by Valdir Tepedino. César Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. William Velasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Vinícius Abreu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving William Velasco. That made the score 0-3 in the 95 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Sirinhaem EC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Grêmio FBPA.
