But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eurico Neto couldn't finish the play. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ingai's goalkeeper Jairo Arce, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcus Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sydney Ribeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Perez in the 25th minute of play. Ricardo Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, Ingai's goal looked a bit too open when Eurico Neto came free, but Jairo Arce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sydney Ribeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Moraes in the 48th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Eurico Neto made the kick off in the second half. If Marcus Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusébio Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sydney Ribeiro having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Guapiuru SS's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Moraes came free, but Sydney Ribeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guapiuru SS's Sydney Ribeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Guapiuru SS from getting a goal against them. 1-0 became the score in the 71st minute when Eurico Neto elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Eurico Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guapiuru SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Eurico Neto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jairo Arce breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcus Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ricardo Moraes came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Ingai fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Moraes couldn't finish the play. After 84 minutes of play, Guapiuru SS's Eurico Neto made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jairo Arce was left in no man's land by his defense there! 89 minutes into the match, Ingai's Ricardo Moraes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sydney Ribeiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
