Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alan de Lara started the match with the kick off. Jairo Monteiro hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alegres SC's goalkeeper Tomás França, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomás França took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basilio Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peneiras's Paulo Renato Tinoco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Pedro Penha in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renan Valadares in the 13th minute of play forced Peneiras's goalkeeper Paulo Renato Tinoco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomás França made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basilio Abreu in the 14th minute of play. Zé Pedro Penha's late challenge caught a Peneiras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zé Pedro Penha helped the player get up and apologised. After 16 played minutes Alegres SC got a freekick which was hit by Zé Pedro Penha. 19 minutes into the match, Alegres SC's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Teixeira came free, but Tomás França reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Peneiras getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. João Augusto Oliveira hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Peneiras defense, Jairo Monteiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo Renato Tinoco. The Peneiras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo Renato Tinoco should have stopped the shot. In the 27th minute, Jairo Monteiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo Renato Tinoco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Paulo Renato Tinoco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Monteiro in the 31st minute of the match. Peneiras's Paulo Renato Tinoco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan de Lara in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Peneiras's Basilio Abreu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomás França made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Ezequiel Pires charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ezequiel Pires the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 38 played minutes Alegres SC got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Pires. With his leg Tomás França managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Peneiras's Daniel Diniz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alegres SC were furious when Ezequiel Pires was red carded, 41 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Ezequiel Pires kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Cacá de Toledo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Tomás França made a huge save. Tomás França made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fiori Dante in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Renan Valadares was extremely unlucky when he, in the 53rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Jairo Monteiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Paulo Renato Tinoco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zé Pedro Penha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Renato Tinoco having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Zé Pedro Penha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 68 minutes into the match, Alegres SC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Diniz came free, but Tomás França reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Renan Valadares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alegres SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Renan Valadares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Renato Tinoco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 79 minutes into the match, Peneiras's Bruno Teixeira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomás França narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tomás França made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basilio Abreu in the 92nd minute of play. Tomás França showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fiori Dante in the 96th minute of the match. The Alegres SC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
