With his leg Yan Rosado managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Juranda SC's Jaime Esteves fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Davinopolis EC's César de Alcântara got a free kick in the 12th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Juranda SC's goal looked a bit too open when Ademar Esteves came free, but Claudinho Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Davinopolis EC's goalkeeper Yan Rosado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Claudinho Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Vergílio in the 22nd minute of the match. Jaime Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Yan Rosado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Afonso Vergílio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claudinho Torres. Juranda SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Afonso Vergílio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Jaime Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yan Rosado having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Davinopolis EC's Hugo Silva got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute, José Maria Castro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Davinopolis EC's Yan Rosado didn't even have to move. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hugo Silva during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 36th minute, Hugo Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Afonso Vergílio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Claudinho Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaime Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yan Rosado having to interfere. If Osmar Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. César de Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Davinopolis EC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Osmar Costa made the kick off in the second half. When Hugo Silva was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 55 minutes had been played. In the 55th minute, Hugo Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Osmar Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaime Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Yan Rosado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yan Rosado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osmar Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Juranda SC's José Maria Castro got a free kick in the 67th minute. Juarês Hames struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Claudinho Torres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Davinopolis EC. Ademar Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Claudinho Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If César de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ademar Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinho Torres having to interfere. The supporters of Davinopolis EC booed when Juranda SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomé Mazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yan Rosado came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Juranda SC's Jaime Esteves. But to his dismay, Jaime Esteves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Davinopolis EC's Yan Rosado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osmar Costa in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Osmar Costa made a precise shot to the right of Yan Rosado. Davinopolis EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The audience was convinced that Osmar Costa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yan Rosado was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. When Jairo Pernambucano fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Davinopolis EC's protests and gave Jairo Pernambucano a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Davinopolis EC's Jairo Pernambucano got a free kick in the 94th minute. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by Davinopolis EC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. José Maria Castro was slow to take the kick. During this time Juranda SC's players had a chance to rest.
