The crowd rose to their feet as Itororo EC's Célio de Souza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joel Barbosa. That made the score 1-1 after 13 minutes of play. Armindo Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Urdaspal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isidoro Urdaspal made a kick off. Beksitas FC's Joel Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Célio de Souza in the 52nd minute of play. Armindo Ramos acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 53rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Prospero Maldonado. In the 59th minute Célio de Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidoro Urdaspal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joel Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manoel Xavier in the 64th minute of the match. Armindo Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Urdaspal in the 69th minute of play. Isidoro Urdaspal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Beksitas FC's Cássio Silveira in 73 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Armindo Ramos guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Armindo Ramos was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Prospero Maldonado capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. In the 95th match minute, Itororo EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Célio de Souza to maneuver through the defense. Itororo EC's Armindo Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Urdaspal in the 96th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
