Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th minute, Vitorino's Guto de Alcântara ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Armindo Ramos. Armindo Ramos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. When Aníbal Aguiar came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Itororo EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aníbal Aguiar couldn't finish the play. Guto de Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armindo Ramos having to interfere. Emerson Cardozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Armindo Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th play minute Emerson Cardozo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Armindo Ramos. 2-0. Armindo Ramos was a little too slow when Guto de Alcântara got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 3-0. Hamílton Félix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 28 played minutes Vitorino got a freekick which was hit by Guto de Alcântara. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Célio de Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itororo EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Célio de Souza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guga Gonçalves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emerson Cardozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Armindo Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Vitorino's goal looked a bit too open when Célio de Souza came free, but Guga Gonçalves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Itororo EC's Armindo Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guto de Alcântara in the 45th minute of play. If Emerson Cardozo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guto de Alcântara to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guto de Alcântara in the 54th minute of play forced Itororo EC's goalkeeper Armindo Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guto de Alcântara struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Armindo Ramos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vitorino. Guto de Alcântara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guto de Alcântara took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armindo Ramos. Armindo Ramos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Armindo Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guto de Alcântara in the 65th minute of the match. Guga Gonçalves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aníbal Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armindo Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emerson Cardozo, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Manoel Xavier's late challenge caught a Vitorino's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manoel Xavier helped the player get up and apologised. Manoel Xavier kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Guto de Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armindo Ramos having to interfere. Célio de Souza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Guga Gonçalves made a huge save. Armindo Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emerson Cardozo, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After 93 played minutes Itororo EC got a freekick which was hit by Celso Baptista. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vitorino fans cheered their team off the field, for while Itororo EC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
