Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Maragoji's Cláudio Mello proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Maragoji from getting a goal against them. Maragoji's Rui Guerra suffered a concussion after 11 minutes and had to leave the field. 11 minutes into the game, Davi Pirani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Urubicy AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maragoji the free kick. In the 12th minute, Davi Pirani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Didi Sá came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Maragoji fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Didi Sá couldn't finish the play. Aleandro Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesinha Passos having to interfere. A collision led to Urubicy AD getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Narciso Dantas hit a great ball. When Didi Sá came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Maragoji fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Didi Sá couldn't finish the play. Cesinha Passos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruninho Carioca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cláudio Mello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Pires in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, Maragoji was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aleandro Valle to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucas Pires in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cláudio Mello prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 43rd match minute, Maragoji was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fábio Brodel to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Geovânio Rosado in the 45th minute really tested Cláudio Mello's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Aleandro Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesinha Passos having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Cesinha Passos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Didi Sá in the 54th minute. If Didi Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Urubicy AD's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Didi Sá scored to the left of an out of position Cesinha Passos, making the score, 0-1. Lucas Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Didi Sá fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 75th minute of the match, Didi Sá got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cesinha Passos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 80thth minute of the game Lucas Pires who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maragoji's Cláudio Mello was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 84 played minutes Urubicy AD got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Fernando Leão. When Didi Sá came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Maragoji fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Didi Sá couldn't finish the play. Cesinha Passos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruninho Carioca in the 89th minute of the match. After 96 minutes Maragoji's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Geovânio Rosado who took care of the corner kick.
