Nildo Guedes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 8 minutes of play, Jussari FC's Gilson Ramos made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcus Pirani was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jaiu's Marcus Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Cordeiro in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Gilson Ramos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cássio Chaves might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wiliam Tinoco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cássio Chaves ran back to his position shaking his head. Alfredo Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nildo Guedes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiliam Tinoco having to interfere. Cássio Chaves's late challenge caught a Jussari FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cássio Chaves helped the player get up and apologised. Cássio Chaves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Wiliam Tinoco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Gilson Ramos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Jussari FC's zone, Nildo Guedes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wiliam Tinoco came out of the goal and Nildo Guedes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Nildo Guedes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jaiu's supporters rose to their feet, but Nildo Guedes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wiliam Tinoco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Jaiu getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Gerson Montenegro hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Marcus Pirani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilson Ramos in the 57th minute of play. After having played for 61 minutes, Cássio Chaves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jaiu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cássio Chaves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nildo Guedes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiliam Tinoco having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Gilson Ramos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jussari FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 74th minute Alfredo Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Pirani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nildo Guedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerson Montenegro hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. If Cássio Chaves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nildo Guedes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiliam Tinoco having to interfere. Gilson Ramos charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilson Ramos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd match minute, Jussari FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilson Ramos to maneuver through the defense. Nildo Guedes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiliam Tinoco having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, Jussari FC could leave the field as winners, despite Jaiu having more of the ball for most of the match.
