In the 10th minute, Sérgio Tróia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 12 minutes in the game, Han Solo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Luiz Gustavo Rezende having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Glucinio's Sérgio Tróia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Gustavo Rezende narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Faustão Trancoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glucinio's supporters rose to their feet, but Faustão Trancoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Gustavo Rezende breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Glucinio's Faustão Trancoso got a free kick in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sérgio Tróia in the 23rd minute of play forced Corina FC's goalkeeper Luiz Gustavo Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Corina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sérgio Tróia came free, but Luiz Gustavo Rezende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Sérgio Tróia dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Luiz Gustavo Rezende, 1-0. In the 34thth minute of the game Sérgio Tróia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corina FC's Luiz Gustavo Rezende was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carlos Vander took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luiz Gustavo Rezende. Corina FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Sérgio Tróia made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Glucinio getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Carlos Vander hit a great ball. 54 minutes into the match, Glucinio's goalkeeper Aluísio de Brito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jailson Trigo. Ronaldo Meirelles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute Jailson Trigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aluísio de Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sérgio Tróia took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luiz Gustavo Rezende. Luiz Gustavo Rezende dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Corina FC's Luiz Gustavo Rezende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sérgio Tróia in the 75th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Corina FC's zone, Faustão Trancoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Gustavo Rezende came out of the goal and Faustão Trancoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79thth minute of the game Sérgio Tróia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corina FC's Luiz Gustavo Rezende was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 80 minutes of play, Glucinio's Ilie Enișteanu made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luiz Gustavo Rezende was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 84th minute Jailson Trigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aluísio de Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Corina FC booed when Glucinio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles Hoffmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sérgio Tróia struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Luiz Gustavo Rezende didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glucinio. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Glucinio fully deserved thier win.
