After 4 minutes, Wilian Quaresma mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cacamba SC and the Cedral EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of Cacamba SC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cedral EC:s goal. 8 minutes into the game, Elias Miranda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cacamba SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cedral EC the free kick. Elias Miranda hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 12th minute by Jorge Mattos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jorge Mattos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Erasmo Hoffmann skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 15 minutes, Ramiro das Neves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cedral EC and the Cacamba SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cacamba SC booed when Cedral EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro das Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ramiro das Nevess short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Erasmo Hoffmann to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Erasmo Hoffmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Carlos Negri, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Ernani Mandrak struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Filipe Ferraz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cacamba SC. Erasmo Hoffmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Carlos Negri in the 28th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cacamba SC's zone, Jorge Mattos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erasmo Hoffmann came out of the goal and Jorge Mattos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Cedral EC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Pedro Luís Andrade hit a great ball. Bruno Terra took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Filipe Ferraz. Cedral EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Cacamba SC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Elias Miranda hit a great ball. Erasmo Hoffmann made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Jorge Mattos sent off a good shot on target. In the 45th minute, Elias Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 46 in the game by Jorge Mattos from a close distance when the talented Erasmo Hoffmann managed to make a qualified save. Cacamba SC's players were relieved. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ernani Mandrak to make the kick off. Cacamba SC's Erasmo Hoffmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Mattos in the 52nd minute of play. Marcus Mumbach hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. When Jorge Mattos came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Cedral EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Mattos couldn't finish the play. Ernani Mandrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Ferraz having to interfere. Kauã de Senna hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. A collision led to Cacamba SC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Elias Miranda hit a great ball. Pedro Luís Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Hoffmann having to interfere. Pedro Luís Andrade hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Cedral EC's Filipe Ferraz got control of the ball when Fernão Ceresso tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 74th minute, Ernani Mandrak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If José Carlos Negri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cacamba SC's Erasmo Hoffmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Mattos in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute, José Carlos Negri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erasmo Hoffmann was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Jorge Mattos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Hoffmann having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cacamba SC's César Ceresso got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After having played for 84 minutes, Pedro Luís Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cedral EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Luís Andrade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Carlos Negri in the 86th minute of play forced Cacamba SC's goalkeeper Erasmo Hoffmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 87 played minutes Cacamba SC got a freekick which was hit by Enio Arce. Cacamba SC's Erasmo Hoffmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Mattos in the 91st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernão Ceresso got free with Filipe Ferraz in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Cacamba SC's zone, Jorge Mattos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erasmo Hoffmann came out of the goal and Jorge Mattos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Cedral EC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
