Chico Schmidt took the ball and in the 2 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Alberto de Queirós. Carlos Alberto de Queirós dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 6 minutes into the match, Querida SS's goal looked a bit too open when Chico Schmidt came free, but Carlos Alberto de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute Laércio Prata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Alberto de Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudinei Fantini kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cauã Netto during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 15 played minutes Só Tapa futebol clube got a freekick which was hit by Cauã Netto. Cauã Netto kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Chico Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Carlos Alberto de Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Laércio Prata put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Carlos Alberto de Queirós. When Dráusio Secco fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Querida SS's protests and gave Dráusio Secco a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th match minute, Querida SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dráusio Secco to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute of the match Richard Guimarães sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Alberto de Queirós skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Querida SS's Jarbas Gaspar got a free kick in the 31st minute. Chico Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Carlos Alberto de Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Chico Schmidt put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Carlos Alberto de Queirós. In the 43rd match minute, Só Tapa futebol clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laércio Prata to maneuver through the defense. Chico Schmidt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute, Laércio Prata got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Chico Schmidt made the kick off in the second half. Marcelo Arce's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Alberto de Queirós read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Silas Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Negri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dráusio Secco got his second yellow card in the match during the 56th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Querida SS getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Dráusio Secco hit a great ball. Carlos Alberto de Queirós made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Chico Schmidt sent off a good shot on target. Chico Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Carlos Alberto de Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcelo Arce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Alberto de Queirós having to interfere. Chico Schmidt was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 65th minute. Só Tapa futebol clube's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Marcelo Arce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Carlos Alberto de Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cristian Moreira fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Querida SS's protests and gave Cristian Moreira a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Querida SS getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Cristian Moreira hit a great ball. Chico Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Alberto de Queirós having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Beto Lira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 73 minutes of play, Só Tapa futebol clube's Chico Schmidt made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Alberto de Queirós was left in no man's land by his defense there! Chico Schmidt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Carlos Alberto de Queirós made a huge save. Marcelo Arce struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Carlos Alberto de Queirós didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Só Tapa futebol clube. Chico Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Alberto de Queirós having to interfere. Laércio Prata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Carlos Alberto de Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chico Schmidt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Alberto de Queirós read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Querida SS's zone, Chico Schmidt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Alberto de Queirós came out of the goal and Chico Schmidt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Só Tapa futebol clube's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
