Joélson Faustino kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the game, Eriberto Negri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Beto da Silveira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Extremas booed when Querida SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eriberto Negri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Extremas's supporters rose to their feet, but Acácio Vander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Alberto de Queirós breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eriberto Negri during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eriberto Negri hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Querida SS's Claudinei Fantini shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 59th minute of play. Beto da Silveira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Extremas's Beto da Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dráusio Secco in the 71st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Acácio Vander's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Alberto de Queirós was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. 92 minutes into the match, Querida SS's goal looked a bit too open when Adalberto Leite came free, but Carlos Alberto de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Extremas supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Querida SS's performance. The match ended with a win for Querida SS.
