Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bocoroca AD's zone, Rony Viana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guto Fontes came out of the goal and Rony Viana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ademar Santana scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Flávio de Andrade, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Morotim's Cauan Carvalho in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bocoroca AD's goalie prevented a goal. Morotim's Flávio de Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albertinho Gaúcho in the 27th minute of play. Ademar Santana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Flávio de Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flávio de Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albertinho Gaúcho, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rony Viana got free with Guto Fontes in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 45 minutes, Albertinho Gaúcho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bocoroca AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albertinho Gaúcho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Albertinho Gaúcho made a kick off. Morotim's Flávio de Andrade proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Morotim from getting a goal against them. Bocoroca AD's Guto Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rony Viana in the 58th minute of play. Flávio de Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albertinho Gaúcho in the 64th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the game, Morotim's Cauan Carvalho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guto Fontes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. If Ademar Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 74th minute Albertinho Gaúcho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flávio de Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albertinho Gaúcho in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flávio de Andrade prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ademar Santana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flávio de Andrade having to interfere. 95 minutes into the game, one of Bocoroca AD:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The Bocoroca AD players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
