After 2 played minutes Terror Do Sul got a freekick which was hit by Anderson Paraense. After 4 played minutes Morotim got a freekick which was hit by Cauan Carvalho. With a little luck, Morotim's Flávio de Andrade got control of the ball when Nilson de Mendonça tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nilson de Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flávio de Andrade having to interfere. Flávio de Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldão Pitta in the 9th minute of the match. Cauan Carvalho's late challenge caught a Terror Do Sul's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cauan Carvalho helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Morotim's Cauan Carvalho got a free kick in the 10th minute. Nilson de Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Flávio de Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nilson de Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Morotim's goalkeeper Flávio de Andrade, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Flávio de Andrade made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nilson de Mendonça in the 19th minute. After 26 played minutes Terror Do Sul got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Paraibano. Sidney Ramalho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rony Viana went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Cauan Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Sidney Ramalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Nilson de Mendonça ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flávio de Andrade was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Nilson de Mendonça made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Natanael Cearense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Morotim's Laerte Ribeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 57 minutes, Ronaldão Pitta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Terror Do Sul and the Morotim players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Terror Do Sul getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Ronaldão Pitta hit a great ball. If Rony Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Terror Do Sul's zone, Rony Viana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sidney Ramalho came out of the goal and Rony Viana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th minute Ronaldão Pitta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flávio de Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nilson de Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Flávio de Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 79 minutes, Nilson de Mendonça managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Terror Do Sul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nilson de Mendonça was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Flávio de Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilson de Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Gilmar Favoretto's late challenge caught a Terror Do Sul's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilmar Favoretto helped the player get up and apologised. Flávio de Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldão Pitta, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 96th match minute, Morotim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilmar Favoretto to maneuver through the defense. Terror Do Sul were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
