Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Conrado Souto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Macedo having to interfere. Evandro Bittencourt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Conrado Souto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Abel Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Conrado Souto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abel Macedo was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Luan Tasso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tiago Fonseca in the 14th minute. After 15 played minutes Andrade got a freekick which was hit by Ernani Lara. Luan Tasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Portuguesa SS's Abel Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Souto in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to Andrade getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Benê Santos hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the match, Portuguesa SS's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Souto came free, but Abel Macedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luan Tasso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tiago Fonseca in the 29th minute. When Benê Santos came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Andrade fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benê Santos couldn't finish the play. If Benê Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Tiago Fonseca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Portuguesa SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evandro Bittencourt to make the kick off. After 55 played minutes Portuguesa SS got a freekick which was hit by Adelino Fernandes. Ernani Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Abel Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Portuguesa SS's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Souto came free, but Abel Macedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Carlinhos Quadros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benê Santoss short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Abel Macedo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Portuguesa SS's Cristiano Brito got a free kick in the 66th minute. Benê Santos came free with the goalkeeper in the 68th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Abel Macedo could save by the left post. Abel Macedo made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Benê Santos sent off a good shot on target. Andrade's Benê Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andrade's Conrado Souto was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 74th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Portuguesa SS's Tiago Fonseca got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Benê Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th match minute, Andrade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dedé Cavalcante to maneuver through the defense. Abel Macedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benê Santos in the 92nd minute. Ernani Lara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abel Macedo having to make a save. Abel Macedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Conrado Souto's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. 96 minutes into the game, Hamílton Martins was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Portuguesa SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Andrade the free kick. In the 96th match minute, Portuguesa SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamílton Martins to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Andrade players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
