Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Mococa EC's Oscar Donato started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Timeteu EC's zone, Oscar Donato stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vivaldo Brasil came out of the goal and Oscar Donato tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vivaldo Brasil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oscar Donato's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Timeteu EC's goal looked a bit too open when Naldo Pombal came free, but Vivaldo Brasil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timeteu EC's Vivaldo Brasil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naldo Pombal in the 13th minute of play. Vivaldo Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Donato in the 19th minute of play. When Mococa EC's Naldo Pombal in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Timeteu EC's goalie prevented a goal. When Naldo Pombal came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Mococa EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Naldo Pombal couldn't finish the play. Aírton de Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mané Hoffmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Mococa EC's goalkeeper Aírton de Barros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Francisco Pinho. Vivaldo Brasil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Donato in the 38th minute of the match. Aírton de Barros was a little too slow when Mané Hoffmann got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 1-1. After a rather tough play, Timeteu EC's Jacinto Lira got a free kick in the 44th minute. After 47 minutes Timeteu EC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Basílio Leite who took care of the corner kick.

Aírton de Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Francisco Pinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Mané Hoffmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Timeteu EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mané Hoffmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aírton de Barros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee felt a red card was in order, 55 minutes into the game, when Diguinho de Medeiros put in a rough tackle. In the 54th minute, one of Timeteu EC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Timeteu EC. Vivaldo Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Donato in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Naldo Pombal notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Timeteu EC's Vivaldo Brasil. Vivaldo Brasil was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 75th minute, Naldo Pombal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Timeteu EC booed when Mococa EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basílio Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 79 minutes, João Francisco Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Timeteu EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Francisco Pinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Naldo Pombal got free with Vivaldo Brasil in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oscar Donato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Vivaldo Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vivaldo Brasil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oscar Donato's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Oscar Donato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mococa EC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
