The referee showed Durvalino de Sena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nico Dias was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 10th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Crioli's Durvalino de Sena got his second yellow card of the match in the 11th minute. The referee ordered Durvalino de Sena off the ground. After a rather tough play, Crioli's Durvalino de Sena got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute, Traicao FC's Natã Paes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 20th match minute, Traicao FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natã Paes to maneuver through the defense. Tony Leão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Teixeira having to interfere. If Tony Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Dudu Ortiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crioli's supporters rose to their feet, but Dudu Ortiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto Teixeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Traicao FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Carlos Fernando Hames hit a great ball. Natã Paes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Messias having to interfere. 32 minutes in the game, Natã Paes fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Osvaldo Messias having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Osvaldo Messias successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 35thth minute of the game Natã Paes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Crioli's Osvaldo Messias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 36 played minutes Crioli got a freekick which was hit by Dadá Rezende. Osvaldo Messias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natã Paes in the 39th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Natã Paes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Osvaldo Messias was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Crioli's zone, Bruno Cerezo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osvaldo Messias came out of the goal and Bruno Cerezo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Natã Paes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Osvaldo Messias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aloísio Linares's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tony Leão got free with Roberto Teixeira in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tony Leão succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 56th playminute. If Aloísio Linares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Traicao FC's Natã Paes in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Crioli's goalie prevented a goal. After 70 minutes of play, Traicao FC's Natã Paes made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Osvaldo Messias was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Tony Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Aloísio Linares came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Traicao FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aloísio Linares couldn't finish the play. 79 minutes into the match, Crioli's goal looked a bit too open when Natã Paes came free, but Osvaldo Messias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Crioli's Dudu Ortiz got a free kick in the 87th minute. The audience was convinced that Natã Paes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Osvaldo Messias was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Osvaldo Messias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aloísio Linares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the match, Crioli's goal looked a bit too open when Natã Paes came free, but Osvaldo Messias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
