Freguesia EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gallinhos the free kick. A collision led to Freguesia EC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Samuca Pereira hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute, Manuel Zonta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gláuber Esteves got free with Evaristo Castro in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 68th minute, Gallinhos's Manuel Zonta dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Manuel Zonta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Trancoso in the 96th minute of play forced Gallinhos's goalkeeper Chiquinho Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Freguesia EC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gallinhos were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
