After 22 minutes of play, Gallinhos's Manuel Zonta made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luciano Vander was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Manuel Zonta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reginaldo Moreno hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. A collision led to Ricardo FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Douglas Pires hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute, Manuel Zonta made a precise shot to the right of Luciano Vander. Ricardo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 42 minutes into the match, Ricardo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Diogo Mazza came free, but Luciano Vander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leandro Mazza scored 0-4 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luciano Vander, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Valdir Pontes kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Luciano Vander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gláuber Esteves, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The wind increased when Manuel Zonta made the kick off in the second half. Luciano Vander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Zonta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Paulo Renato Gaspar fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ricardo FC's protests and gave Paulo Renato Gaspar a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ricardo FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Paulo Renato Gaspar hit a great ball. In the 67th minute, Manuel Zonta fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Luciano Vander, passed just outside the right post. Ricardo FC's Luciano Vander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Zonta in the 70th minute of play. With a little luck, Ricardo FC's Luciano Vander got control of the ball when Duarte Cerezo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Duarte Cerezo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Zonta in the 81st minute of play forced Ricardo FC's goalkeeper Luciano Vander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
